Mumsinshape was born in 2001 when Anna, the founder, finally realised a long term dream of leaving the business world and setting up a specialist fitness service for women and mums.

On joining an antenatal exercise class with the first of her four children, Anna knew teaching fitness to mothers would be her future. It took one further pregnancy and four years to realise the dream, but Mumsinshape was finally launched and since that time thousands of women have benefitted from the warm and supportive approach of Mumsinshape. Many years of experience and constant CPD means Anna brings you, not only a fun-filled experience and real understanding of the needs of mothers, but crucially deep specialist knowledge of fitness and rehabilitation for the special needs of mothers.

Classes and personal training always have a key focus on teaching mums why and how each movement is best for their body as well as delivering the content.

Anna says “I aim to teach each of my clients how to exercise safely but also to take away solid knowledge to protect themselves and make sure they stay strong for life. No-one wants a leaky pelvic floor and with the right input at an early stage, for most women this can be achieved and maintained.”
